CHIEF’S REPORT
297 fire calls; attended a few events: Back to School at Christ Gospel Church, Whitesboro Reunion, Car show, ShopRite, Wildwood Convention parade; Squad 72 gas meter the O2 sensor has to be replaced, waiting on a quote; 700 mobile came in and will be installed sometime this weekend; asked to do Monster event in Wildwood on September 30 and October 1; Blood Borne training will be held on October 25th by Tony Robinson; all yearly services have been completed: Tanker: tires are going on eight years, heat wrap around the SCR DPF crossover pipe is missing, air dryer filter is due for a new filter; Squad: interior door grab handle is loose on the door, the driver side under body box drawer is not latching on one side; Quint: steering shaft joint was loose at the master steering box and has been repaired, 2 – covers on the step frames were loose but now repaired, 3 – bolt was missing in the power dist box underneath the battery box but now repaired, 4 – cradle guide light was out but now repaired, 5 – driver’s door step light is out, 6 – license plate light is out, 7 – all Gortite roll up door rubber seals between the slats are coming out, 8 – headlight and starter switch indicator lights are out, 9 – the CAFs flow transmitter is stuck on 172 CFMs, 10 – oil leak near the driver side front of the engine, CAM SENSOR?, 11 – needs engine air filter, 12 – oil temperature gauge for the CAFs compressor is broken, 13 – harness plugs in the engine valve cover are leaking oil, 14 – heat temperature selector knob missing in the crew cab heater, 15 – two batteries failed load test, 16 – driver side front SCBA compartment door stop rubber is missing, 17 – aerial hydraulic pressure gauge is bad, fluid is gone and high pressure readings, 18 – aerial pressure gauge at the rear of the truck reading 10 PSI higher than the master.
